![]() ![]() What I find strange is how WG themselves can fail to understand this. ![]() Every little bit of extra edge that BB's get snuck in like this, increased close range accuracy, improved rudder shift time etc only makes this worse. ![]() This will turn the game pretty much into two blobs of battleships slugging it out with some planes flying around as filler. The one factor that are meant to limit The power of battleships, destroyers, are however so underpowered at those tiers that they barely exist. And when played the way WG wants, that is, together as a "fleet", they don't really need cruisers for AA, especially now that all CV's has to have fighters, which limits their strike capabilities. At low tiers, BB's are kinda meh, but at high tiers they are enormously powerful, with accurate guns that can shred cruisers in no time. I also tried Nagato vs Baltimore and close to medium range, hit the center of ship and still no citadel hits! Looking for the PC Version of this ship Click here. Dual-purpose main guns and a battery of automatic AA guns ensured a strong AA defence. No destroyer in the world could rival her in terms of speed, while her armour and the power of her artillery were comparable to those of light cruisers. The only citadel I got was on a Fusou but it was a long shot. The ship was designed as a destroyer flotilla leader. I tried with Fuso shooting the citadel of a Kongou, but no citadels, I tried shooting Fusous and Colorados with Nagato's AP, but nothing. One thing I noticed though, is that Citadels on BBs are not easy to get anymore. It's one of the reason I don't feel sorry when a BB gets pounded by a cruiser. It seems battleships are way too effective against DDs considering they are countered by them. Today on PT server, I did 6k damage with Nagato AP to a Hatsuharu. ![]()
